In line with the State's policy towards encouraging young people in all fields, the SCA's Board of Directors approved the SCA participation in the Initiative ofFuture Economy Youth Council  after reviewing a report included the council competence, its proposed vision and mission, its values, objectives, organizational structure and proposed composition, which includes representatives of the Office of HE the Ministry of State for Youth, the Emirates Youth Council, the Ministry of Economy, the SCA, the General Civil Aviation Authority and Insurance Authority, the functions of the Board members and the proposed activities for 2017- 2018.

The Board of Directors then directed to start coordination with the Office of HE the Minister of State for Youth and the concerned authorities in this regard as a part of supporting the UAE's policy of empowering and involving youth at all levels, especially at the national and economic levels.

Accordingly, the Council was formed under the patronage and follow-up of His Excellency Engineer/ Sultan Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Board of Directors. The Council held several meetings and implemented number of activities and projects.
