SCA obtains certification for implementing ISO 10015:2019 guidelines following LR’s reviews of its training activities and programs

As part of its strategy to improve the capabilities of its human resources and meet quality standards to cater to customer requirements, the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) obtained certification from Lloyd’s Register (LR) for implementing ISO 10015:2019 guidelines following LR’s reviews and assessments of SCA’s training programs and activities and of its Professional Training and Examinations Centre (PTEC).

The certification covers guidelines for identifying the training needs of SCA employees, developing and implementing training plans, and assessing results and outcomes to improve employee competence.

Obtaining this certification reflects SCA’s tireless efforts to equip its staff with a wide range of skills to improve their capabilities in line with the highest international standards. The certification also bolsters SCA’s initiatives aimed at promoting sound utilization of (financial, human, and technical) resources; providing regulatory authorities with more competitive advantages relative to their local, regional, and international counterparts; raising the levels of customer satisfaction; and building greater customer and investor confidence.
