Financial markets will be closed beginning on Friday, July 8, for Eid Al Adha holiday, and trading will resume on Tuesday, July 12

Pursuant to Circular No. 6 of 2022 issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources on Eid Al Adha holiday, the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) has announced that—after having coordinated with the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the Dubai Financial Market—trading will be suspended beginning on Friday, July 8, to Monday, July 11, for the Eid holiday, and will resume on Tuesday, July 12.

It will be up to the Dubai Gold and Commodities Exchange to decide when the holiday starts and ends, according to work requirements and public interest.

On this blessed occasion, the SCA extends its warmest congratulations to the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai; and their brothers Their Highnesses Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, praying to Almighty Allah to bestow upon them, the UAE people, and the Arab and Islamic world peace and prosperity.
