SCA celebrates the UAE’s 49th National Day

The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) virtually celebrated the UAE’s 49th National Day. The celebration featured segments in which all employees from SCA’s Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices participated.

His Excellency Dr. Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, SCA’s Chief Executive Officer, opened the celebration with a speech indicating that “the achievements made by the UAE, through its experience as a federation, and its multiple development goals reflect a wise strategy that seeks to capitalize on potential and create a national environment that strives to keep pace with the technical and scientific developments. This is facilitated by the introduction of integrated local and federal policies.The insightful vision of the wise leadership formed a solid foundation for anticipating the future and making big strides forward while holding onto our well-entrenched values”.

In his speech, Dr. Al Zaabi lauded the great role of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the founding fathers in establishing the federation and bringing the seven emirates under a single state that has attained a prominent status on the global stage.

The SCA’s Gender Balance Team participated in the celebration by sharing the details of a visit it made to the General Women’s Union headquarters. As part of their participation, members of the team showcased stories of the ancestors and asked questions related to the UAE’s legacy and history. Employees also took part in the celebration by reciting poems.
