SCA’s CEO meets with traders and familiarizes them with SCA’s initiatives and efforts to improve market performance

As part of events held to mark World Investor Week, H.E. Dr. Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, CEO of the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), met with traders gathered at the trading floor of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) in the presence of H.E. Khalifa Al Mansoori, Acting Chief Executive of ADX, and a number of SCA and ADX officials.

“Meeting with traders is part of SCA’s Tawasul initiative, an initiative that provides the opportunity to contact the CEO via www.sca.gov.ae and to get in touch with SCA officials using instant messaging, on the same website, and SCA’s social media accounts,” Dr. Al Zaabi said.

“These meetings with traders help to get their feedback; respond to their queries; know their opinions; and familiarize them with SCA’s initiatives, efforts, and projects that aim at improving market performance, maintaining the rights of traders, and protecting their investments,” he added.

It is worth noting that Dr. Al Zaabi, along with a number of SCA officials and department managers, met with traders at DFM’s trading floor at the beginning of World Investor Week. Traders, on the other hand, expressed their appreciation of the vital role SCA plays in supervising financial markets.
